We hope this letter finds you well. We started this year with a short vacation where we could spend more time with family, parents and friends. This has helped us to receive new powers and we are already working very hard to bring new students to Christ. We are working on some big projects that will help us evangelize in a way that is relevant to students.
National conference
Lately we've been bombarded with news that brings us frustration and fear. Looking up at God, everything around us seems to be straw that at the coming of Jesus will burn and disappear. With all the missionaries we meditated on God's faithfulness and we were encouraged to look up to the Lord who gives us hope. For us it was a good reminder that God is faithful to his promises. He will continue to be with us. We will be in eternity with Him. Having the hope of eternal life, we look at the world around us and what is happening in a completely different way.
Church
I understand that in our letters we did not write anything about the church where we go. I chose Chișinău Bible Church (KBC) because it has good teaching and biblical doctrines. We love developing relationships with the youth and families in this church. Recently, 9 people were baptized and all of them were teenagers. We rejoice to see new young people come to Christ. Within this church is also the Bible seminary where many Moldovans and foreigners study the Word of God. We pray that we can serve the youth of the church more.
Summer Project
It is a bit early to write about the summer project, but we want to let you know about an opportunity to serve in Moldova. On July 17-22 we want to have the English Club for students. We see that young people like to learn English and we want to use this opportunity to share the Gospel to them. We will write more details along the way. Now we want to know if you want to have a missionary trip to Moldova to participate in this project. Please write to me if you have this desire.
Prayer needs
1. Pentru conferința studențească Look Up din 24-26 februarie. s-au înregistrat deja 50 de studenți. Rugați-vă să avem un timp ziditor pentru ei și noi studenți să vină la Hristos.
2. Pe 5-10 martie așteptăm 30 adolescenți din USA. În fiecare zi ne vom duce cu ei prin universități și colegii la lecțiile de limbă engleză. Și seara vom invita studenții la un timp special cu americani unde vor practica mai. mult engleza. Rugați-vă ca ei să ajungă cu bine și slujirea lor în Moldova să-i apropie mai mult de Domnul și noi tineri să vină la Hristos.
3. Rugați-vă pentru situația politică din țară. Se întâmplă lucruri ciudate, se vorbește că Rusia dorește să destabilizeze Moldova. Nu știm ce se va întâmpla cu adevărat însă rugați-vă să fim aproape de Domnul și în toate să căutăm voia lui.
